Returns / Cancellation Policy

Lost Groove specializes in deleted and back catalogue vinyl and CDs. This generally implies that the majority of items in our stock are in used condition, simply because it is impossible to guarantee sourcing original items in brand new condition when they have long since been deleted or are out of print at the manufacturers. Every used item we sell is professionally cleaned (if required), visually inspected and graded in accordance with the recognized worldwide Goldmine Standard grading system.
All vinyl records & CDs are a mixture of new and second-hand and are fully guaranteed.

Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel your order, simply telephone or email us as soon as possible.
If you cancel an order by email you must wait to receive confirmation of the cancellation. Your order is not cancelled until you receive this. The ideal way to cancel your order is by telephone as orders can be cancelled instantly.
You can only cancel an order before it has been shipped. Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Our returns policy will then come into affect.
Faulty Goods:
Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded. On the rare occasion that an item needs to be returned it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for shipping when returning the item to us. If we concur that the item is faulty, or misrepresented in the item description, a full refund will be given including any postage costs, as long as the item is returned to us in its original condition and prior agreement has been reached.
Returns:
In addition to your statutory rights we will allow you to return within 7 days of receipt of your order any VINYL record(s) purchased from us. Upon receipt we will offer you the option of either a credit, to be used against another purchase, or a refund by Personal Cheque or PayPal account, should you have one. You will be either charged or refunded the difference in price between your new purchase and the value of the original purchase as appropriate. You will understand that in these circumstances we can only take into consideration the price of the product when determining the amount of refund and not any delivery costs.
Returns Procedure:
To return an unwanted order you must give us notice within 7 working days starting on the day after the day that you received the goods from us.

Important: Do not include your credit or debit card details in your emails. Standard email is not always secure, unlike our on-line ordering services which utilizes secure sockets and encryption technologies.
Please include the order number (as shown on your invoice), details of the product(s) being returned and the reason for return. If you have disposed of the invoice then please provide your name, postcode and approximate date of purchase so that we can trace the order from our records. If you are returning defective product(s) please indicate the nature of the defect and, if appropriate, the elapsed time during play at which the defect becomes apparent.
